Q: Do I need to get down on the floor and back up?

No. All exercises are done either from a chair or using it for support. You will never have to get down on the ground.

Q: What equipment is needed?

You will need a chair and a resistance band.

Most of the exercises are simple and use only your own body weight. These are easy to do and require little fitness in advance. 

Here’s what you need to know about your back (and why it hurts)...

Your low back and upper back are actually really different. In your upper back your spine is connected to your ribs, but in your low back it isn’t. This means your upper back doesn’t move around as much. And this is why low back pain is so common.

Because your low back can move more it’s easier to end up in a slouched position. Now, if you spend a lot of time in that position (which we all do) it puts extra strain on our muscles and joints in our back—causing us stiffness and pain.

To reverse this, we need to loosen up our back and unlock the stiffness.
